Are Liquid Vitamins Better?

Did you know that your body absorbs vitamins almost 80% more if taken in liquid form? Yes, studies have shown that when you take vitamins in their liquid form, your body is able to absorb the nutrients faster and in greater amounts. Think of your body as a tube filled with liquid. Now let's say you place a candy with a liquid center in the tube, acting as a traditional vitamin in pill form. As you watch the candy move through the tube, you'll start to see the top layers of the candy disintegrate. By the time the candy hits the bottom of the tube, it is worn down but not fully absorbed by the liquid in the tube. Now, let's say you broke the candy open and just let the liquid-filled center drip into the tube. You will immediately see the liquid from the candy being absorbed by the liquid in the tube! The same concept can be used when comparing liquid vitamins.Your body is able to absorb more of the vitamins when you take it in the liquid form. There are plenty of vitamins and supplements that are available in the liquid form. It is also common to find such vitamins in powder form which you can place in any liquid you desire, such as juice or water. I have even seen supplements which you can add to your coffee! Do your homework, there are plenty of online vitamin companies where you could find a full vitamin regimen to suit your daily nutritional needs!

  1. I think they are better for kids, because they're easy to swallow. When it comes to effectiveness, I believe it depends.
